Jennifer serves on the Board of Volunteer’s In Service to the Elderly (VISTE) which is a non-profit organization in her hometown of Lakeland. In June of 2015 Jennifer began anchoring the 5pm & 5:30pm newscasts replacing longtime anchor Gayle Sierens who retired after 38 years with the station. In December 2014 WFLA announced Jennifer would take over anchoring duties for the 11pm newscast.

In July of 2012 WFLA launched 8 7, and Jennifer began full time, weeknight anchoring for the station.
In 1995 she helped open News Channel 8’s Polk County bureau and began reporting full time.
She joined WFLA in 1993 as an assignment editor, then worked her way up the producing ranks writing for a variety of newscasts. Jennifer anchors News Channel 8 weeknights at 5, 5:30, 7 & 11pm.
